What is Short-Term Accommodation (STA)?
Short-term accommodation (STA) is a temporary accommodation designed to provide NDIS participants with a safe, comfortable, and accessible place to stay.
At Your Hart 2 Hart, we offer a range of options that cater to your needs and requirements, ensuring each participant receives the care and support they need while receiving our essential services.
Our aim is to create a welcoming environment that feels like a home away from home, where you can relax, rejuvenate, and continue to live your life with freedom and independence.
Joined by Your Support Worker
If you have STA or respite as an approved Goal in your Plan to meet your disability support needs, your essential care supports are covered and you only pay for luxuries!
All activities of value undertaken are family friendly, health and wellbeing focused and allow you to participate in mainstream community with the support you need are included along with meals, 24 hour care from a team of qualified workers and accommodation charges.
This is the ordinary normal life with supports.
These activities could include:
- Catching up on the latest Movie
- Sporting event of interest
- Attending a zoo
- Community festivals
- Craft
- Cooking, music and community activities
- Many others!
To maximise skills building and independence, all accommodation at Your Hart2Hart includes your own bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette, so you have the perfect blend of private living areas and support worker assistance available for your care needs.
